What we collect

  • Your public Solana wallet address (already public on-chain).
  • Your on-chain Poloos balance at the moment of connection and at each refresh.
  • Your submissions, votes, dispute statements, flags, and petition requests.
  • A one-way SHA-256 hash of the source IP address for rate-limit accounting and sybil-signal detection. Raw IPs are not stored.
  • Timestamps of the above.

What we do not collect

  • Names, emails, or phone numbers.
  • Wallet signatures or private keys (never — the app is read-only against your wallet).
  • Cookies for tracking or advertising.

How data is used

Wallet addresses and vote choices are displayed publicly on the docket, archive, and any generated petition, so the community can verify tallies. Balances are used only to determine voting eligibility. IP hashes are used only for rate limiting and are never displayed.

Retention

Votes and filings are retained indefinitely as a public record of community deliberation. Rate-limit records older than 30 days are purged. Audit-log entries are retained for at least 2 years. See the operations doc for full retention policy.

Data location and processing

Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (managed Supabase / Postgres, EU or US region depending on project settings). Backups run daily and are retained by the provider.

Petitions and recipients

When an admin approves a petition and logs its dispatch, the identity of the dispatcher (a wallet address) and the recipient snapshot become part of the public dispatch record. No recipient's contact details are ever surfaced to non-admin visitors.

Requests

To request removal of a filing or a flag, connect the wallet that authored it and file a flag with the reason. Removals are at admin discretion; on-chain provenance cannot be undone.

Contact

Reach the maintainers via the Poloos community channels linked from the main docket.
